US Treasury employee arrested, accused of leaking media secret information about suspicious financial transactions related to Paul Manafort, Russians

Anons, leaking SAR's is big shit. SAR's – Suspicous Activity Reports – are filled out by bank employees – whether a credit officer or a teller – for "suspicious activities" related to you and your account. Anyone who's been trained on this crap at a bank knows it's entirely subjective to poison things further, employees are told that if the fail to report "suspicious activity", there will be penalties for them.

Needless to say, because of the potential for abuse of these SAR's – which can mean that the teller doesn't like your attitude (or your MAGA hat) – confidentiality is a non-negotiable. The information is meant for rational adults, not immature and irrational idealogues like the accused.

Incidentally – SARs must have been completed on transactions involving the Clinton "charities." Would like to know if they have and, if so, if they've been investigated.
