i have sisters and daughters and nieces.

my sis-in-law stripped and was in Playboy when she was young - now she has two (2) PhD's and is dean at a university, with a husband and 2 kids.

 

so, you are incorrect that I have no idea - i have been in the mix of this.

 

if you do not allow for people to change…

if you do not forgive others for making mistakes…

 

what happens AFTER the cabal is outed?

what happens when the communists are routed?

what do you do with your democrat neighbor who doesn't share your values?

 

i am not saying everyone gets a pass on anything.

i am not saying there are zero people out there who are irredeemable - there are, yet most are not.

if there is no forgiveness for them anywhere, what kind of world is that, which we have made for ourselves?

 

still think you need to adjust your attitude and outlook on life.

it takes a lot more energy to maintain negative posture than to forgive and let live.

your point of view is colored by her, which obviously colors your view of women to a high degree.

let that go and take them as they come - that's all I am trying to convey.

i'm not telling you to get on the 12-step wagon - it isn't for everyone.

shrinks are usually more fucked up internally than their patients, from my experience.

 

i will tell you that the single biggest thing that has helped me is practicing forgiveness.

to do that, you have to put your empathy hat on.

but that doesn't mean you also engage the stupidity engine - you just have to forgive people for being unfinished (my term).

life = journey

everyone starts naked and helpless, starts knowing nothing, does not get to pick parents or skin color or wealth level born into.

what we do with life depends on how we deal with the other pebbles we are rubbing up against on the journey.

 

step one, for me, was to arrive at peace with myself and all my foibles and quirks.

forgive myself.

then other things become possible….
