Given how long this guy was in the "business", he knew all kinds of shit about all kinds of people – seems he chose the "wrong" side as of recently …. interesting he didn't take that position earlier already (since ethics in Saudi-Arabia haven't changed much in the last decades).

At any rate, given what might have happened in that embassy, it'd be prudent for POTUS to take a stategically smarter position on this.
