If Q team work closely with POTUS, it's fair to assume they are employees of the executive branch. If that's the case, would they not fall under the provisions of the Hatch act?

The thought crossed my mind that Q's silence may be due to the approaching midterms. If that's the case, we shouldn't hear from Q until after the elections. Time will tell.
