Victims ID’d in apparent Tennessee murder-suicide; family lived in ‘loving home’

Heard this yesterday, but wrote it off as just another crazy person losing her shit–but today they revealed that all four of the murdered kids were adopted. Adopted, home-schooled Asians between 14 & 17. Almonds tingled. Shallow digging reveals that the (estranged) couple already has three adult children–so why adopt four more in your 40s/50s unless you're just that saintly? The (murdered) adoptive children claimed to have no real relationship with the father, who seems to have once owned a construction company with an income of 500k–1M. The Colliers also appear to have spent some time in Virginia, which automatically gives points on my personal scale of fuckiness.

Something here smells way off to me.
