First time voter needs help

Ill be the one to ask. Might want to make it a notable if someone answers with something other than "KYS". I'm in my 30's and have never voted. I am registered and ready to vote this time. My issue is I don't know wtf to do? I'd like to physically go to a poll and vote. Can someone give tips on what to do/what to expect so I'm not completely lost?

OR, is there any difference vs. voting early online? Just want my vote to count. But I guess anything can be comped.
