WRONG. The TIME SIGNATURE of "Lateralus" has nothing to do with Fibonacci sequence. Lateralus time signature is a repeating sequence of 9/8, 4/4, 7/8. Go learn what time sig in music means. The Fibonacci sequence as relates to Lateralus lies in the syllabic construction of the verse, but is broken and incomplete. Just as a Haiku has a syllable structure of 5/7/5, Lateralus lyrics have a syllable pattern over the first few Fib. numbers forward and reverse:

1/1/2/3/5/8/5/3/2/1, but this is where it is broken. next syllable should be 1, but in song it is 2. There are several other spots that do not adhere strictly to Fib. sequence as well. And so fucking what, anyway? Maynard IS a genius, and did it on purpose. Not some cosmological magic. Far more improbable is the synchronicity of Dark Side of the Moon and Wizard of Oz. Lyrics sync to screen events, done before computers and video tape machines, band swears totally unintentional. And, I know plenty about pre flood ancient civilizations, when our predecessors called this whole planet Atlantis, if you have some ideas there that need to be set straight, too.

there is some fact in religion/mythology/ancient text, but not about spiritual beings, demons, or aliens. it was all meant to teach future humanity about the movements of the 'heavens' and open our eyes to the fact that our race is prone to being wiped out by rocks/comets falling from the sky. humans had a fairly advanced culture here more than 25K years ago, but were nearly wiped out. some scientists wil tell you that anatomically modern humans have been here for between 50k and 100k years ago. other scientists will tell you that the oldest megalithic structures are only 5k to 7k years old. people with the same mental capacity, ingenuity, inquisitiveness, and physical capability lived here for 10's of thousands of years before suddenly deciding to build some of the most amazing things on earth 5k ago, with no precursors? humans cannot accept that what we see and experience are all that there is to their lives, so they cling to beliefs in religion/aliens because they won't accep't that in the grand scheme of the cosmos we are meaningless.

almost. The human brain has several flaws, not the least of which is that we base our self view (self worth, importance, and, place in the group dynamic) by feedback from others. It is how we are wired. this is how social media works, just look at the people who created FB telling everyone who will listen that they intentionally exploited this flaw to hook you, and that they themselves won't use the product they created. social validaytion feedback loop, dopamine release hooks you like any other drug. one of the other flaws in the mind that is left over from remote antiquity, when we were simpler animals, is in the amygdala. this is where the instinctual leaves, such as 'flight or fight'. other processes that dwell there? procreate. protect own family. attack those that are are similar to us but different/not part of group. same as most animals today. this is where the roots of racism lie. our higher conciousness of self and intellect usually overcome these instincts, but not for all. this is where the root of war lies. other great primates wage war as well as us.

you are describing the motion of the heavens, not the passage of time. for us, the arrow of time only points in one direction. this is artificially constructed by our minds in order to keep us constrained in our three dimensional reality while existing in an infinite multiverse. the human brain cannot leave this 3D reality without incurring extreme insanity. we are not wired to exist any where else.

interesting. first, you say we wouldn't have time without motion of the heavens. then you state time isn't real, but invention of man. you contradict yourself, which is it? the arrow of time always points forward for us, regardless of frame of reference. it is one of the standards of conventional physics. static observer vs moving observer = time moves forward slower for the moving observer from the reference frame of the static, while time moves faster for the static observer from the reference frame of the moving observer. but they always move forward. gravity fields have a similar affect, wherein the observer in a higher gravity field will see the reference frame of a lower gravity field speed up, and vice-versa. some scientists have been trying to reformulate standard physics to remove the reference to flow of time, as it is the only way to unify the newtonian and the quantum. unfortunately, the problem lies in the fact that the laws of thermodynamics dictate the direction arrow of time (as we understand it), and no one has been able to get around that issue in the end, you essentially agree with me, in that there is no time, it is made up in our heads. just another attempt by our brain to make sense of the higher-dimensioned multiverse. the appearance of time is a lie made up in our heads to avoid the complications of experiencing the higher dimensions of the universe. this is why our species (as it exists now) will never develop time travel. our brains are not properly wired to allow existence in the higher level dimensions necessary to violate entropy. in a nutshell, according to physics as we understand it today, time cannot exist in the quantum, but the newtonian cannot exist without it, yet we see evidence that both are true. perhaps time is just an observational effect, a la opening schroedinger's box, but our internal wiring dictates the fundamental basis of the observation.
