Last night I dreamt of Lester Holt. He and his crew were at a trailer park, to do a news story. One of the homeowners was going out of town, so one of Holt's staff members asked the home owner, if they could use their home while the owner was out of town, so the crew would have a place to go inside, during the duration of the news story. The home owner agreed, and gave the staff member a key to the mobile home (without charging them any money- they were allowed usage of the home, at no cost- out of goodness of heart of the homeowner).
While Holt and the crew were at the home, they let the homeowner's little dog outside by accident. They dog was as small as a kitten, and I saw it sitting in the grass outside. The staff member who made the deal with the homeowner, became angry, and she rescued the dog, putting the dog back inside the home.
After they did their news piece, Lester Holt and some of the crew went inside the trailer home. They were all standing in the kitchen. There was a really nice, handmade piece, like a table lining, and it was on the countertop. Lester Holt got the 'bright idea' to sign the piece of fabric, with his signature. He was so conceited, his ego was so big, he thought the homeowner would be so happy with his signature.
The staff member who made the deal with the homeowner became upset again. She told Holt (as he was writing his name in ink on this nice handmade piece) 'this is a handmade item, we don't know who made it, it could be a family heirloom, and besides this, your signature is so sloppy, the homeowner isn't going to recognize what it is, they are going to think that someone scribbled on their handmade item'.
He did it anyway, signed his name on the handmade piece.
The homeowner came home, they saw that their dog had been let out, and that their handmade family heirloom had been ruined. The homeowner was so angry. The staff member tried to calm the homeowner down, but it was no use.
I woke up right after this.
