Last year, I dreamt of a demon. In the dream, I was in a house, there was a demon sitting on a couch. A young woman was laying on the couch, beside the demon.
The demon told me that he had 'tricked' the young woman into agreeing (he told her something about her mother to get her to agree, but I don't remember what he said he told her). The demon then proceeded to say 'I ate her organs, I ate her heart, I ate her liver'. The demon was laughing as he was saying these things, he made everything like a big joke.
When the demon told me that he ate the young woman's organs, I went into her body, and tried to raise her up. She was laying on the couch, and I got her into a sitting up position. Right when I got her pulled up, the demon took his finger (he had knives for fingers on one hand) and he touched her chest, and pushed her back down. I realized she was already dead at that moment, and I came out of her body.
The demon laughed and said to me 'those of you who are allergic to water, should get prepared'. Then I woke up.
I was thinking about this dream after I read your post. And it occurred to me, when someone makes a deal with a demon, they have to give something in return. The 'something' that they have to give, is the sacrifice of a child. This child sacrifice is supposed to be the person's own child. This is why a lot of the elite do not have children- they thought they could beat the agreement of sacrifice, by not having children- but the demons will not allow this. So they force them to offer a sacrifice, and if they don't have children of their own, then they must use someone else's child.
Others who do have children, will bargain with the demon, so as to not sacrifice their own kids, but if they don't sacrifice their own children, then they must continually offer up children as a sacrifice. As in, if they had given their own child, that would be enough for the demon, but because they either don't have kids, or they bargain to save their own children, then they must, for the rest of their lives, give child sacrifices, of other people's children.
