Does Satan exist?

Yes.

Does the 'thought' of Satan exist?

Yes, but is constantly pushed (by distractions and denials) to back of mind.

Who worships Satan?

  1. Those who understand Satan exists and seek benefits from same.

  1. Those who push distractions and seek benefits from that obscurity.

The original Q post narrowed to worshipers of Satan.

Those who worship (revere or adore) Satan do not merely consider Satan to be a thought of their own. Satan is external to these who worship.

This is so whether or not they engage in rites.

All of humanity is vulnerable to the temptations of evil, yes. Worship takes it to a different level for it includes both denial of the adoration of Good and the embrace or petitioning of Evil.

Some who worship do so ritually and often out of fear of Evil or fear of fellow worshipers. The benefits sought, or clung to, vary upon the closeness to Evil.

The thought of Satan is merely the acknowledgement of the existence of Satan. Attempts to distance the thought from the existence is mere folly. Sadly. Tragically.

To know is one thing. To worship is another.

To cower in fear and submission is one thing. To seek benefits is another.

Think freedom vs slavery.
