I think the backlash against the trashing of Kavanaugh went better than imagined so that might have changed up the plan a bit. Lots of high profile arrests might have the unfortunate side effect of motivating left wing voters so it’s unnecessary right now. I’m sure trump has a few more tricks up Gus sleeve however.
