Here's an article in English, with videos, about the caravan's pushing into Mexico. All Mexico had to do was put a few good bike locks across that gate on the bridge, and it would have held. But they chose to let these people in. It was easier to contain them there, stuck on a bridge between Guatemala and Mexico, than it will be at the US border.

And personally, the ones I want least are the women with children – straight onto our welfare rolls and public education, not even working.

All the Mexican police had to do was put a few strong bike locks across that gate on the bridge, and it would have stopped the crowd.

They didn't do it because they chose to let them through. Unfortunate. It says elsewhere they had already agreed on a "metered entry" system.

First through are women and children, who will impose very large costs wherever they settle, consuming welfare if available and public education, likely doing little or no work in the economy in the foreseeable future.
