That's not the route. They're coming in at AZ/Yuma so they're only 50 miles from Buckeye/Goodyear/Maricopa/CasaGrande and from there its about 25 miles to Phoenix or heading westbound 70 miles to California where everything is free & they get a drivers license and can vote.
