it may well have been a satanic thing.

At the same time, there is a plausible mundane explanation that the funeral home had accepted government funds to cremate the bodies as the families either couldn't be tracked down, or couldn't pay.

In order to save money on the natural gas (quite possibly several hundred dollars worth per body, to reduce it to ash), the funeral home may have lied to the govt and said they did the cremation, but in fact didn't do it, and pocketed the money.

The corpses could have been hidden in the ceiling.

CambodiaAnon here.

The white guys are idiots for traipsing into the CamboJungle by themselves. The loggers and drug traffickers there will never let them out alive. And yes, if you look back at what the Khmer Rouge did to enemies, a degree of cannibalism was often meted out to invaders (esp ingestion of the heart and liver).

Ian and Jack should be coming in with Blackwater, or not going at all.

In any case, whatever is there, ain't MH370. Probably something left over from the Vietnam/Cambodia War. early 1970s vintage if I had to guess.

because they don't allow anyone in who could conceivably get video footage of their logging/drug activities and send them to law enforcement.

I led lots of tours in Cambodia in years past, and learned the hard way to keep tourists on the beaten track. Stray too far and you are lucky to come out alive. If the loggers don't get you, the landmines will.
