Any other over-50 anons think the Plan may have been in the works since we were kids?

Really, really starting to look that way.

I think the specifics of it clicked into place after 9/11, and then more so during Hussein's presidency. But the idea of it predates the military and intelligence careers of those now mid-career and in the prime of their lives by decades. Whether they were inspired by individual relationships by older patriots, then mentored, who knows.

Thank God for these patriots, who had the knowledge and training, and managed to reach places in this incredible period in history where they could set real change into action.

I have no idea where I might find a church that wouldn't feel like a pair of shoes that are too small. Finding a welcoming community of like-minded people is a tall task.

Very good point. The left is not the only group of people dealing with not just their own personal challenges and tragedies, but with a certain amount of cognitive dissonance.

We're all having to start all over again when it comes to creating a small life that makes sense for ourselves.

I don't really expect "happiness" anymore; that seems like a thing for younger people. Basic contentment and time when the physical discomfort is at bay would be enough for me.

Jamal Khashoggi, alumnus of Indiana State.

Indiana State.

Time to put a screeching halt to all the international admissions programs at America's universities.

The rest of the world hates us, but boy, do they want to attend our universities.

There's no logic in allowing it to happen.

I hope Trump addresses this in his second term. Education reform is critical.

Understandable why people in early America needed and depended on their churches during colonial & later times.

Their travel was so limited and it was a struggle just to survive.

Church was the only place where young people could meet then marry, the only thing that kept people from being completely isolated.

Men & women depended on the friendship of others in the community to help with tasks they couldn't do on their own.

Whenever people get together in an organization there are problems. I have an ancestor who was personally responsible for dividing a church in 1850's southeast. Basically there's always somebody who's such a jerk that nobody else wants to be around them.

I kind of like reading & absorbing the Bible on my own.
