I was having the problem with the auto refresh unchecking itself and I kept having to re-check it. In the last bread an anon said to go to options (top right) and check it in there too. I did that (because it had unchecked itself in there also). So far this bread I have had no problems with the auto refresh so have a look if it is also checked in the options as well as at the bottom of the page.
