>There are at least a couple Youtube channels which feature young defectors describing their old life in NK and new life in SK. In the videos I watched, there was no mention of Nazi-like slave labor camps.

Brainwashing starts at a very young age. The schools have photos on their inner walls with scenes of atrocious acts committed by American soldiers on North Koreans during the Korean War. The people are kept in a constant state of semi-starvation. China is a release mechanism for them like the US is for Latin America. The NK gov also sends some of its people to them to use however they want in return for remittances to the gov.

Whatever is happening in NK most likely is happening in other poor third world countries. Many people (not just the powerful and wealthy) enjoy abusing those born into abject poverty.

China has had a huge military build-up on their border with NK. It's not to start a war with them but to prevent a massive flood of North Koreans entering which in turn would devastate China's economy.

In a few words, Collapse from inside.., NK is a experiment and a referent for the third World Countries.(LatinAmerica as example) if is fall (the liberal/socialism) in SAM it goes. ,I hope so Anon., I can't bear it live in this madness
