Yes they have a kill switch. Look at your cell towers. EMF Ultra Low Frequencies. RFs. Millimeter Waves. These "weapons" that surround us have been used in warfare for half a century or longer.
(They also have Frequencies that can cure and heal. But they are not using those on the people in the Matrix now are they?)

I believe the "smart" (evil) and most conniving way of waging war would be to not let "the people" ever know a war is happening and have your leaders just call the chaos from the war "the new normal" and tell you to "get used to it." And to get people around you to call you crazy when you point to the War and call it a War.
