The jews will be surprised. Christ got mad at the Pharisees because their religious system was corrupt. Rabbi's, Synogogue and Halakah are all self made by the jews. After the Jews went after the false gods, Baal and the grove (Christmas), (1st Kings, 2nd Kings- 1st and 2nd Chronicles, the time of KINGS, Israel went after pagan gods. they then were sent to Babylon. They lost their Temple, their GOD and their law. So they created the halakah, the oral law was translated to the Aramaic language, based upon Rabbinic opinions. So Rabbi's had ZERO to do with Judaism of the former religion back in Jerusalem… you know, high priests of the lineage of Aaron, priests of the lineage of LEVI.

This is why Christ was mad with the Pharisees because they were crooks and were NOT authorized to be priests. their doctrine would contradict the LAW in saying something was illegal.. they would twist the law to make allowances…

Christianity also has a halakah of sorts. No true doctrine. Paul teaches 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

in Jeremiah 3:8, GOD divorced Israel for spiritual Idolatry for going after the pagan gods.
