Please tell me someone else just saw that bright thing come blazing in from south to north spitting all kinds of bright pieces off as it burn through the atmosphere.
I went outside to look at the moon again, the timing was perfect, it went straight overhead!
It begin to break up and disintegrate right over me and then flashed out of existence to the North with a bright red trail behind it.

I’ve never seen a meteor come in looking like that.
It looked exactly like all the video we saw of the space shuttle coming in when it was breaking up just a lot smaller and didn’t last but maybe 5-8 seconds.
There’s a shit ton of meteors tonight. The bright one I saw overhead definitely broke up. I Skywatch all the time. I can get on my roof and lay there with binoculars. I’ve never seen anything like that one.
Anyone from Newport to Boston would have seen it straight overhead going south to north

Know what? In all my years of offshore commercial fishing I don’t beleve I ever knew a jooooo who worked on an offshore boat.
