How many (essentially) uninhabited islands fall within US territory?

Why can't we, as a nation, move all these 'immigrants' (snark included) onto one or more of these islands and allow them to self govern, and see what they do with it…

Gets them out of their shit holes and could possibly even be a good thing for all involved.

Most importantly, keeps them out of US citizen territory - although it may mean any children born 'would' be citizens (I don't know enough of this topic to say)
