You may have seen one breaking apart after falling out of orbit, in the order of hundreds.

Pieces of satellites even made the news found by a farmer in California. The Chinese spy sats were CUBE design and small. If it is the dead sats, they should be raining down for a few weeks to come, some will fall out of orbit faster than others.
Land mines are still a proven effective deterrent against invasion… Almost as effective is just signs proclaiming a mine field…
