From National Hurricane Center - Willa Now Cat 5

https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCDEP4+shtml/221515.shtml?

900 AM MDT Mon Oct 22 2018

Corrected wording in Key Messages number 2

Willa is an extremely impressive hurricane in infrared and visible

satellite imagery this morning. The small, but very distinct, eye

is embedded within a symmetric central dense overcast with cloud

tops of -70 to -80 degrees Celsius. A very recent SSMIS microwave

overpass is the first to indicate that an outer eyewall has formed,

suggesting that an eyewall replacement cycle has started. The

latest objective T-numbers from UW-CIMSS are T7.0/140 kt, and

subjective Dvorak intensity estimates from TAFB and SAB are 140 kt

and 127 kt, respectively. Based on these data the initial intensity

has been increased to 140 kt. An Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter

aircraft is currently en route to Wilma and should provide a better

assessment of the storm's intensity by early this afternoon.

Willa is moving northward 6 kt. The hurricane is forecast to

continue to move northward today around the western flank of a

deep-layer ridge that is located over the Gulf of Mexico.

A short wave trough that is seen in water vapor imagery near 130W

longitude is forecast to deepen as it moves eastward toward Baja

California. This should cause Willa to turn north-northeastward

tonight, then accelerate northeastward on Tuesday, bringing the

center of the hurricane onshore along the west-central coast of

Mexico Tuesday afternoon or evening. As mentioned in the previous

advisory, the track guidance is good agreement on the overall

scenario but there are still some notable differences in the

predicted forward speed of the hurricane. The NHC track forecast

leans toward the faster solutions of the GFS and GFS ensemble

mean, which have been handling Willa's track the best so far.

The environment of low wind shear and water temperatures of 28

to 29.5 degrees Celsius suggest some additional strengthening is

possible but with the evidence that an eyewall replacement has

begun, some fluctuations intensity are possible during the next 12

to 24 hours. After that time, increasing southwesterly shear is

forecast to induce weakening, but Willa is likely to remain an

extremely dangerous major hurricane when it makes landfall along the

west-central coast of Mexico. After landfall, shear and the

mountainous terrain of Mexico will cause rapid weakening and

dissipation of the cyclone.

Key Messages:

  1. A life-threatening storm surge is expected Tuesday along the

coasts of the Isla Marias, and west-central and southwestern

Mexico near the path of Willa. Residents should rush preparations

to completion to protect life and property and follow any advice

given by local officials.

  1. Everyone in Isla Marias, and within the hurricane warning area

along coast of west-central Mexico should prepare for life-

threatening major hurricane winds associated with the core of

Willa. Hurricane force winds will also extend inland across the

mountainous areas of west-central Mexico as Willa moves inland.

  1. Heavy rainfall from Willa is likely to produce life-threatening

flash flooding and landslides over much of southwestern and

west-central Mexico.

Know what makes me the angriest?

KNOWING that there are assholes going to great lengths to manipulate and coordinate this public relations event.

It's as artificial as everything else liberals do.

Sick and damn tired of them.

It is going to be an indescribable pleasure to see them crushed and defeated.

Cop killer in Gwinnett County Georgia shot and killed by police

REST IN PEACE, OFFICER TONEY

https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/gwinnett-county/dangerous-suspect-on-the-run-after-officer-s-shooting-death-5-000-reward-offered/857490934

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga - Gwinnett County’s police chief confirmed that “the danger to the community is over” after officers shot and killed the teenager who they said opened fired on one of their own Saturday, killing the officer.

Sources confirmed to Channel 2 Gwinnett County Bureau Chief Tony Thomas on Monday morning that police had located Tafahree Maynard, who was wanted in the killing of Officer Antwan Toney. Shortly after, they confirmed Maynard was dead.

U.S. marshals arrested Isaiah Pretlow, 19, Saturday night and charged him with aggravated assault. Maynard had been on the run ever since.

Throughout the weekend, police received tips to Maynard’s whereabouts, but it wasn’t until early Monday morning that investigators said a credible tip led them to a neighborhood off of Hewett Road.

Gwinnett County Police Chief Butch Ayers said in a news conference Monday afternoon, that two police officer were led to wooden shed behind a home.

"The officers opened up the door and immediately saw someone inside," Ayers said, with officers confirming Maynard was the man inside. "Mr. Maynard was issued verbal commands. He failed to comply with those commands."

When he didn't, investigators said they shocked Maynard with a Taser.

Ayers said prior to being shocked, Maynard had one of his hands behind his back. After being shocked, police said Maynard showed a weapon.

"At one point he did show his hand which contained an edged weapon," Ayers said.

After seeing the weapon, the second officer at the scene open fire on Maynard, killing him.

Ayers said he has asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to look into the officer-involved shooting part of the investigation. He said Gwinnett police and the district attorney’s office will continues the investigation into the fatal shooting of Toney.

Ayers said the department will also investigate anyone who may have aided Maynard in his escape from police.

Toney was shot while responding to a suspicious vehicle parked near Shiloh Middle School in unincorporated Snellville.

Smith said someone reported the vehicle and that the people inside may have been smoking marijuana.

Toney and another officer approached the vehicle and that's when someone started shooting from inside the car.

"Before they could even get to the vehicle, shots rang out," Smith said.

Toney is the fifth Gwinnett County police officer killed in the line of duty and the first since 1993.

The 30-year-old officer was just days from celebrating his third anniversary with the department on Oct. 26.

Toney's family is now planning his funeral for Wednesday. They're preparing to fly to Georgia from Southern California.

Dozens stopped by the Gwinnett County Police Headquarters Sunday to pay their respects to the fallen officer.

“He risked his life, taking this job and becoming a Gwinnett police officer, and I think it’s just so amazing. He was just a hero, a hero," Christiana Woodruff said.

Blind Items Revealed #3

October 15, 2018

The yelling and swearing and the all around a-holery from this permanent A list dual threat actor was something to behold. With his new show in the gutter, the all around jerk blamed everyone for the show's lousy ratings but himself. He thinks he is perfect and that it is always the fault of someone else if something in which he is involved does not succeed.
