So, not entirely related to anything immediately current… But I noticed something that seems to be rather poorly communicated among anons if it is widely known or understood.
I have long found media mentions of religious ideas very intriguing. Command&Conquer being one of the first things I really began to look into as a much younger person. The Tacitus is a sort of Rosetta Stone within the C&C universe - a means by which to understand Tiberium and make use of it (among other things).
Tacitus in the real world was a Roman Senator and ultimately scholar who analyzed the religions within the reaches of the Roman Empire and often likened the religions back to the Roman pantheon.
Effectively, I believe most of the world's ancient religions tie into the same story and characters have simply morphed over time. The Germanic tribes had eerily similar stories to the Babylonian myths, which are all very similar to a number of Shinto myths, themselves related in many ways to ancient Chinese myths.
The pictures are just a sample… It's all a little difficult to parse and source properly from a phone, but it is somewhat focused on the owl and the eye of horus. Which goes back to Minerva/Athena within education establishments (remember, growing up, how the owl was often portrayed as the intellectual or solitary wiseman).
