It is bad form here to fill in the name, email or subject field when posting. It shows you're new and it shows you haven't bothered to learn the rules or read the FAQ. You will have a better chance of being respected here if you go completely anon like the rest of us. Jus sayin.

supercooled

no technical info given other than what one can glean from the visuals

heavy duty cooling requirement to milli kelvins

Q asks where the idea for the Matrix Trilogy came from, implying that we live in something either analogous to or even exactly as the Matrix plot indicates. If our reality "mirrors" the layout of the movie, then our physical bodies currently lie in vast energy farms somewhere. We know that the earth below us is honeycombed with tunnels and chambers. That would seem the likely place for such a farm, while our minds are distracted by the Matrix we perceive as reality. In this scenario, the chemical and thermal energy harvested from our actual physical bodies would be fed into the power grid somewhere, yes? As mines are sometimes used to launder minerals/money from elsewhere, could the power harvested from human flesh be entering certain power plants from underground?
