Contrary to what some have suggested, the caravan is NIOT going to be “hit by a hurricane.” VICENTE is on the way to dissipation in the next 24-36 hours. WILLA is forecast to directly impact areas that either they will not traverse, or will not reach until after the storm has passed.
From reporting I can find, the caravan is too far south be directly affected by the tropical cyclone. It would appear that their current location is perhaps in the northern part of the STATE OF CHIAPAS, or the southern part of one of the states to its immediate north. (See map for reference.) Depending on their speed and the route they take, they MAY get SOME rain and a LITTLE wind (not TS force) or MIGHT see some debris.
