we need a universally recognized certification system.

it should be cheap to take the test to prove you know the material and then be certified as knowing that material.

this would solve many problems in our current educational system.

we already have it for driving & flying

is the level of education in a particular subject less important to know with certanty?

how would you suggest?

continue with the hodge-podge degree system we currently have?

where a BS degree from some institutions isn't the same level of competence as it is from others?

where institutions charge outrageous sums for instruction? people can learn on their own, and those that do are penalized by the current system and the stupid are rewarded.

> Pretty amateur

was opened by servant and it didn't explode

was transported to field and it didn't explode

where the bomb squad detonated it… which means they used their own explosive device to 'detonate' the object, which is standard operating procedure as the known explosive will cause the detonation of any 'bomb' and thus render it 'safe' . Any debris can be analyzed to figure out what was in the 'suspect package'
