Report: Millions in Food Stamp Dollars Flowed to Terrorists

Millions of taxpayers dollars trafficked through food stamp fraud went to terrorists who funded their activities at home and abroad, according to an explosive report from the Government Accountability Institute (GAI).

The report from GAI, where Breitbart News Senior-Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer serves as president, highlighted several instances where money obtained through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits fraud went to fund acts of terrorism, including the 1993 World Trade Center bombings and the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing.

Although this method of using food stamp fraud money for terrorism has been around since the 1980s, it gained notoriety when New York City detectives testified before a Senate subcommittee about the 1993 World Trade Center bombings.

Detectives told the committee that $125 million in food stamp fraud had “unwittingly” gone to terrorist activities.

With the news ringing in her ears, Gaga took to Twitter to insist that Trump is “living in an alternate universe” and is “driven by ignorance” on gender issues.

Hollywood Unhinged over Report Trump Admin May Eliminate Gender Ideology: ‘This Is Pure Evil’

Hollywood celebrities are taking to Twitter to bash the Trump administration in the wake of a New York Times report that states the administration may eliminate gender ideology and officially return to legally identifying individuals as biological “males” or “females.”

“This is pure evil,” tweeted Billy Eichner, host of Billy on the Street. “Get your friends together and vote like our lives depend on it. Because they do.”

Comedienne Kathy Griffin tweeted a link to a thread by Media Matters’ Parker Molloy, who posted, “Lots of people asking what they can do to fight back against the Trump administration’s planned anti-trans actions. The answer, honestly, is to elect Democrats.”

Facebook Silences Jair Bolsonaro’s ‘Main Network’ of Supporters Days Before Brazil Runoff Election

Facebook has reportedly blacklisted accounts and pages from the “main network of support” for right-wing Brazilian Presidential Candidate Jair Bolsonaro less than a week before Brazil’s runoff election on Sunday.

Reuters reports that Facebook has shut down 68 pages and 43 accounts linked to the Brazilian marketing group Raposo Fernandes Associados (RFA) for violating the website’s rules related to spam. The Brazilian newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo has claimed that the marketing group has been one of the biggest support networks for right-wing Brazilian Presidential Candidate Jair Bolsonaro.

Facebook said that RFA created Facebook pages using multiple accounts or fake accounts with the same name and posted multiple clickbait style links which lead to “ad-farming” websites. Facebook said in a statement: “Our decision to remove these pages was based on the behavior of these actors – including using fake accounts and repeatedly posting spam – rather than on the type of content they were posting.”

Facebook has claimed that the removal of RFA’s pages and accounts had been part of the many actions they have taken “to prevent bad actors from interfering with Brazil’s elections on Facebook.” Brazils leftist presidential contender, Fernando Haddad of the Workers Party, has claimed that the Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp was being used to spread spam and misinformation surrounding the election.

Italian PM Warns ‘No Plan B’ After Brussels Rejects Italian Budget

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has warned that there is no “plan B” for Italy following the European Commission’s unprecedented rejection of the Italian budget.

After weeks of back and forth between Brussels and the populist coalition government in Rome, the European Union’s Commission has rejected the Italian budget and told the government to draft another, Il Giornale reports.

The EU has given the Italians three weeks to come up with a new budget proposal after the original had caused consternation in Brussels due to the increase of spending to around 2.4 percent of GDP in order to pay for the basic income policy proposed by the Five Star Movement.

“There isn’t any B plan, I said that the deficit at 2.4 percent of GDP is the cap. I can say this will be our cap,” Prime Minister Conte said following the rejection.

Tuesday on CNN’s “New Day,” Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) defended the migrant caravan that is heading to the United States from Central America, saying the United States should be “trying to help.”
