frens watching chomsky documentary and just heard him say something useful wanted to share (paraphrasing): 14th amendment afforded due process for universal suffrage, corporations as firms immediately got their hooks into precedent so that firms treated as persons legally for due process just as citizens. by extension, if corporations are afforded due process then noncitizen migrants are afforded due process as corollary.
inversion: if we adress illegal migration by taking due profess off the table, it should be no problem to deprive firms the same when they e.g. export our comparative advantage and or knowledge!!!
