I agree, religion is a cancer. If you listen to these videos, it highlights the true enemy which includes the Roman Catholic Church. True light and good does not include the Roman Catholic Church.
Be careful. You are correct when you say that religion caused suffering and still does. Jesus came and spoke against the works of man and was killed for it- he spoke AGAINST RELIGION. The "church" does not represent God. There are people who follow Jesus who get it. They are not associated with "the church". The battle that is before us is truly Satan versus God. Evil Versus Good. The "church" controlled by men, is not of God. However, remember, the true light IS JESUS. Take a look at John 1.
I would encourage you to study Saul in the Bible. Acts. He was exactly what you describe, and then Jesus touched him and he was changed. I know that people have hijacked God, I'm sorry. But he is real, he is the reason that Trump is able to be where he is and it truly is the reason why there is a battle to defeat the darkness. Satan's only wish is to destroy those created in God's image by any means necessary. The More suffering, the better. Truly mean and sick.
