The French Revolution is the LAST thing we want.

What did it really accomplish? Sure, it killed off the royalty PDQ, but then it moved on to pretty much everyone else. Accuse someone of being part of the problem and haul them off to be guillotined.

Thousands of France's teachers, artists, craftsman, etc were executed on the whims of the masses. It set France back by decades.

That is the point of what the current revolution is doing. It is a take-down under the law. It is holding those, who believe themselves above the law, accountable to it. Godslaying.

The cabal believe themselves to have the right, duty, etc to reign over society. Not in the way we think, but that humanity exists for them. We are things for them to play with and to assign a purpose they seem sufficient. Q's matrix post. Just smart enough to keep the machinery running, but too stupid to understand what is going on.

Personally, I think Psycho-Pass is a much better depiction of the world. It should be mandatory watch before anyone can vote. I am not joking. It is probably the single best combination of sociopolitical philosophy, orations, and debates dating back to Cicero and even before.

It's a bit of a spoiler, but it is this scene in particular which brings me to the brink of tears each time I see it. To appreciate it, fully, you must have seen the episodes, prior.

It actually deserves a live-action for people who can't wrap their heads around anime. But a faithful adaptation. As in almost frame by frame identical. Which means no established studio could be trusted with it.

But I digress. We want a revolution that gets rid of the entrenched crime syndicate controlling the nations and holds them to the laws we have that they should be in jail for, already. If not executed.

We don't want people looking to murder others in positions of power out of suspicion and distrust.
