LEAKED: Appeaser Theresa Plots to Tie UK to EU for Years Despite Claiming Months

Leaked documents have revealed Prime Minister Theresa May could be plotting to keep the UK tied to the European Union (EU) for years after the Brexit “transition period”, despite claiming the latest proposed divorce delay will only be a few months.

Last week, Theresa May proposed keeping the entire UK locked in the bloc’s Customs Union after the Brexit “transition” to avert customs checks on the Irish border or in the Irish sea, as EU leaders continue to refuse to let the UK keep the border open with technology.

Cabinet ministers in her government have now been warned there may be no guarantee the UK will be able to get out of these arrangements, and leaks seen by The Times claim Britain could be left in a “long-running” multi-year transition period.

The documents reveal Mrs May’s plan “could, in theory, lead to a long-running IP (implementation period)” that could last for many years on a “rolling” basis with an “annual decision point” where continuing the UK’s attachment to the bloc would be reviewed.

The leaks raise questions about whether or not the Prime Minister has misled the government and the general public.

Just last week, she said the arrangement could be extended “for a few months” and on Monday told MPs the implementation plan would end “well before the end of this Parliament” in 2022.

Later on Wednesday, Mrs May is set to face some of her harshest Brexiteer critics in the powerful Tory backbench 1922 Committee in a crunch meeting.

Key ministers, including Jeremy Hunt, the foreign secretary, Liz Truss, the chief secretary to the Treasury, and Michael Gove, the agriculture secretary, have already stressed their concern over her latest customs “backstop” plan and extended transition.

And over the weekend, Some MPs ramped up their rhetoric, telling the Prime Minister to “bring her own noose” to the crunch meeting Wednesday, hinting at a rebellion, as former Brexit Secretary David Davis set a leadership bid in a challenge to her power.

Also this Wednesday, it was reported that officials have admitted that the UK’s border force will not have the staff, infrastructure, or systems in place to protect and police the UK’s land and sea borders with the EU in the event of a “no deal” Brexit.

The revelation increases pressure on the Government to agree to a deal with the bloc, however bad, to avoid chaos after the divorce.

At Least 400K Migrants Crossed Border into U.S. this Year

U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 400,000 migrants who illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border between ports of entry during Fiscal Year 2018. The number of migrants arrested represents a significant increase over the previous year’s total of 303,916.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials reported on Tuesday afternoon that 396,579 migrants were apprehended during the fiscal year that ended on September 30. Of those, Border Patrol agents apprehended 107,212 Family Unit Aliens (FMUA) and 50,036 Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC).

CBP officials previously stated that the numbers represent a “clear indicator that migration flows are responding to gaps in our nation’s legal framework.”

“Our nation faces a dangerous crisis on the border that threatens American communities,” DHS Spokeswoman Katie Waldman told Breitbart News in response to an inquiry about border migration numbers. “Congress refuses to close catch-and-release loopholes in the law that would allow authorities to detain and remove family units safely and expeditiously.”

The removal of actual family units, or those posing as family units, has been made virtually impossible by Congressional inaction – which will most likely result in record numbers of families arriving illegally in the United States this year,” Waldman stated.

After falling dramatically in Fiscal Year 2017, migrant apprehensions began climbing steadily beginning in May 2017. From April through December 2017 the number of migrants apprehended by Border Patrol agents rose from a low of 11,127 to 28,995. The numbers reversed course for a short period but climbed again to 40,339 in May 2018 and again to 41,486 in September.

Of the nearly 400,000 migrants arrested this fiscal year, more than 250,342 were arrested in Texas — 162,262 in the Rio Grande Valley Sector alone, according to the Southwest Border Migration Report released Tuesday.

During a conference call on Tuesday, senior administration officials told reporters there is a simple solution to the “flood of illegal aliens” who are arriving in “non-removable categories.” The officials said they need to be able to be able to apply the same rules to Central American migrants that are applied to Mexican migrants — immediate removal. The current process takes more than a full year of federal government resources to remove just a few days worth of migrant arrivals under the current conditions.

Saudi Arabia imposes a travel ban on Khashoggi’s family

The Geneva Council for Human Rights and Justice yesterday called on the Saudi authorities to immediately lift a travel ban it has imposed on the family of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was killed inside his country’s consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Geneva Council, an international human rights organisation, expressed in a statement to Al-Khaleej Online its strong condemnation of the Riyadh authorities for banning Khashoggi’s family from travelling.

His son, Salah, was also “forced on Tuesday to receive condolences from Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman.”

The rights body said Saudi’s actions are in violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which states: “Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state. Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.”

The International Human Rights Council stressed that the travel ban on Khashoggi’s family is “a continuation of the horrific crime of his murder and an incident that would be added to the dark records of the Saudi regime in committing huge human rights violations, amid its full responsibility for the killing of the journalist known for his oppositionist positions.”

It questions the reasons behind the ban, saying “unless there is something they are hiding and they fear that the family would disclose it to the international public opinion if they feel safe outside the kingdom.”

Erdogan’s Aide Says Saudi Crown Prince Responsible for Khashoggi's Death

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud is responsible for the death of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi killed in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkish presidential aide Ilnur Cevik said on Wednesday.

"There are many inconsistencies and lies in what Saudi Arabia says, even a child will not trust them. That is an obvious shame that touches also Crown Prince [Mohammed bin] Salman. At least five people from the ‘team of murderers’ are from his closest circle, others would not have acted without their permit … That is why even if US President Donald Trump saves the crown prince, he will nevertheless remain in the eyes of the whole world a person with the hands coated with blood of Khashoggi," Erdogan's aide, Ilnur Cevik, told the Yeni Birlik media outlet.

Khashoggi, known for his criticism of Saudi policies, was working as a columnist for The Washington Post. The journalist was last seen entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2.

Following more than two weeks of denials, Saudi Arabia admitted on Friday that the journalist had been killed in a brawl inside the consulate. According to Riyadh, 18 people have been arrested over their involvement in the incident. Turkey is conducting a separate investigation into the journalist's death.

IMAGES of the mail bomb sent to CNN, Twitter points to ISIS flag on it

CNN’s Jim Acosta has shared images of a crude pipe bomb mailed to the network’s New York studio. The bomb is one of several that were delivered to prominent Democratic figures on Wednesday.

The photos show a rudimentary pipe bomb, delivered in a brown manila envelope to the Time Warner Center in New York City, home to CNN’s studios. Curiously, the package was addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan, who now regularly appears on CNN to bash President Trump.

As for a return address, the sender gave Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ office address. Wasserman Schultz herself was the recipient of a similar package on Wednesday, which police later confirmed contained an explosive device.

Law enforcement sources told CNN that the package was delivered by courier.

The pipe bomb seen in Acosta’s photographs is similar to others sent to Former President Barack Obama and Bill and Hillary Clinton earlier. Both of these packages were intercepted by US Secret Service agents before they could reach their intended recipients, and have been described as “rudimentary, but functional.” None of the bombs actually exploded, and nobody has yet been harmed.

New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio described the mailing of the explosives to CNN as “clearly an act of terror,” meant “to undermine our free press and leaders of our country through acts of violence.” De Blasio also asked President Trump to “bring down the rhetoric,” implying that Trump’s rhetoric somehow caused the attempted attacks.

Law Enforcement agencies have not yet commented on who they believe may be responsible, but believe that Wednesday’s bombs were the work of the same suspect or suspects who left a pipe bomb in the mailbox of billionaire liberal financier George Soros on Monday.

The device was safely detonated by bomb squad officers and the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task force is investigating the incident.
