I doubt that I'm wrong on the main point, though I may be wrong on whether or not you are a shill.
On the main point: You suggest that we consider that this board and what happens here was specifically designed for a very limited purpose - comms or something like that in case of martial law. I just can't see anyone being that short sighted let alone MI. They publicly declared their intentions here. POTUS talked and talked, but (((they))) don't listen to him. (((They))) take the shit they see here very seriously. Think Mike Caro (and learn to play poker for no other reason than to read hi Book of Tells) Reading Trump's comms is nigh on impossible if you're looking for relevance to specific tactical situations. It's one long string of information about long term goals combined with some specific details of particular cases. If you don't understand his goals you can't understand his direction and have no hope of understanding the specific hows and whys of any given situation. They cant read Trump but they can look at other sources and try to fill in the story that way.
Given the collective intelligence here and the obvious impact on how issues are framed in the media I think that this collective was expected to become something like what it is: an agile, devops style information and data clearing house with the ability to provide analysis as well as marketing.
You underestimate the impact that a place like this is having I think.
