I lived in McClean for a year when my ex worked at the Deloitte there. Its not nearly as elite of a place as this article makes it sound. Lots of dual income no children families. We had decent new construction 1br condo that cost 3500/month. Its almost exactly half way between NSA and CIA HQ. They are about 15 miles apart. Lots of employees and employees of contractors work there. 98% have boring technical and management jobs.
If there is an actual cia/nsa war going on, this would be the no man's land between the HQs.

So much of the North Korean propaganda depicts white men violating korean children in various ways. The Kim family is always portrayed as a protector of the children. We view it as entirely propaganda, but what if there was some basis for the anxiety outside of the Korean War. It makes a compelling narrative to keep the the peasants frightened.

The EO allows DoJ and Treasury to freeze the assets of human traffickers ex parte(without telling the individual). The assets can be seized by the federal government after due process(Arrest, plea, trial etc). Seized assets are sold off and given to the US treasury.
