Attended rally in Elma NY.
Caputo said 600 signed up -meh maybe, I conservatively estimated about 400 ish in attendance. Very large press presence, as in everywhere you looked there was a camera crew, maybe eight crews including CNN stayed for the entire event. Saw a reporter for the UK Guardian which was kinda strange given the quasi rural setting. Heavy security. Sheriffs and firefighters. ID required. Asked for conceal carry to voluntarily present their permits. Metal detectors. Pathetic protester turnout, maybe 15 tops, included a bad punk rock trio. The drummer occasionally ran around bashing his cymbal. Dummy in an orange suit propped on the side of the road.
Bannon's speech included a brief history of industrial and financial decline for everyday Americans and increasing wealth and power for the "elite". Stumped for Trump from start to finish.
Caputo, Palidino, DePietro and Bannon all spoke. plus another republican whose name I cannot remember b/c this isn't my voting district. Theme was vote, vote, vote. Red Tide/Jobs not Mobs banners supplied to all. Chris Collins was a no show.
