I haven't seen this mentioned, but wouldn't the FBI/SS investigators have to search her house because of the return address? Even knowing it's a hoax, they would have to be thorough, right? I wonder what evidence (of other crimes) might be found. Maybe nothing, maybe something.
I agree with that! The mistakes seem forced. Another thing I noticed just this morning on the labels…Who in the hell puts To and From on mailing labels?? Gift cards, yes. Mailing labels? I don't know, maybe some people do, but I type up labels all the time, and I've never done that. I know USPS pre-printed labels (priority/express) have that on there, but that's more of an instruction for filling it out.
I'm pretty damn old, so I don't think it something that used to be done.
