She's being extremely direct, to this NYanon. She wants to be placed into the US Senate in a NY seat, same as Hillary was, same as H's replacement Kirsten Gillibrand was.
In NY the Dem candidate always the general election for Senate. So all the action is in the Dem primary, which is under strong party control. The Dem party can place senators into the two NY seats this way. I still remember when Hillary was parachuted into NY and bought her place in Chappaqua to be eligible to run here. That seat was supposed to go to loyal congresswoman Nita Lowey. I remember the awkward way Lowey was shoved aside publicly. Lowey is still in the House, will obviously never see the inside of the Senate.
I guess she wants Schumer's seat, unless she knows something about Gillibrand that I don't know.
