Despite massive financial assistance to Nigeria (among many others), the country is still unable to provide infrastructure to maintain adequate power generation for its citizenry.

The 2016 budget (#44) was expected to give $604.8 MILLION dollars to Nigeria.

If they are in need of such massive assistance, How TF are they able to afford to purchase THREE JF-17's from Pakistan?

ANSWER: Because they make these purchases with monies given to them (our tax dollars) by the US gov't. instead of providing infrastructure improvements.

STOP GIVING THESE COUNTRIES OUR MONEY!

In Addition:

If the US provides military support thru NATO, why do we sell weapons to the very countries that threaten us and- at some point- will use the weapons we sold them against our sons and daughters in the Military?

The massive scale of assistance the United States provides to nations around the world is a reflection of its ubiquitous presence on the world stage, and the sheer size of its economy. The United States provides far more assistance than any other country in the world, and in terms of arms sales, it controls at least half the global market.
