Since I'm in a musical mood tonight I'll introduce you to a great English band many of you may never have heard of called Saxon.

It always amazed me that these young (back then) guys were inspired enough by the life of JFK to write a song about his murder. They called it "Dallas 1PM".

They also wrote a tune called The Eagle Has Landed about Apollo 11.

We used to inspire the world anons and we will again! WWG1WGA!

When I was ages 3 to 6.5 I lived in Del Rio, TX. Thunderstorms and tornadoes were common. We lived in an old mobile home from the 50's with aluminum siding. There was a shrub of some kind under my bedroom window and wind would cause it to rub on that siding and the top of the shrub would sparkle blue as it did. The stronger the wind was more intense the color and sparkle. TBH, it scared the living shit out of me.

Whenever a lightning and windstorm combined near our home, blue ball lightening would appear to hover over the surface of the shrub in addition to the sparkling. I'm in my fifties now and I've never seen it since I moved away from there but I'd sure like to.
