She's "Old Glory" to the doormen
They salute her when she waves
A vivacious wife of Pharaoh
Who's at home with Hebrew slaves;
And I guess she's scared (we all are)
And she's got to be adored
One thing I'd bet on is -
Old Glory's getting bored.
She says "show me something I don't know,
This Bing's immature.
Show me something I don't know
And I'll show you
A thing or two
You don't know for sure.
She's no stranger to the Shoreham,
Where they quote her special rates
When her legs emerge from limos
With low number license plates ,
And I guess she phones world leaders
And she's got a lot to say,
But one thing that I'm sure of is
Old Glory wants to play.
