there is NO fixed law or rule or reg which prohibits DOJ/FBI from releasing info on a case prior to an election - NONE
that said - all recent AG's have agreed that it is improper to release info which would effect an election
whatever that is worth - and IMO it is worse than nothing - just optics and talking points and do whatever the fuck they want
that said - i am guessing the sessions and Q team will go out of their way to avoid stories about how they meddled up the election
still not good enough…
