It's possible but if he sent one threatening text to someone under SS protection they would have followed it up and investigated him. I know from all the digging into the Kennedy assassination when the new files were released. Any threat or suspicious mail is checked. There were literally hundreds of notes from 1960s crazies who wrote to Kennedy in the files.
