We are in no position to judge ancient history. If you claim that "ancient history is a giant lie", then you necessarily claim to have a position of authority that refutes the entirety of work that has come before you, including whatever you claim to be falsified by deliberate deception. But you couldn't possibly be in a position to have knowledge of a tiny fraction of the events of history, nor to establish objective bases of authority for such claims. History is vast; thousands have minds have worked hard on it; countless perspectives have been adopted and challenged; etc. You are ignorant of the vast majority of all of this, and yet purport to be in a position to dismiss– on the authority, no doubt, of someone else.
Claims like this are probably, to a large extent, designed to make us look credulous and stupid.
