Anon, think I agree with you…at least it sounds like we align, but not sure what you mean by evil is only in a person's head. I understand labeling but evil is still an external reality, regardless of how we 'interpret' or construct it mentally. Please expand on that part.
Anon, (thanks for the reply):
For sake of argument if we accept your explanation all that's left is subjective morality, basically no morality…
We are part of humanity, and thus, decide some behaviors are morally repugnant to society. I understand it gets tricky when you argue who decides what is what, but we are not NPCs drifting like pinballs only reacting to events. We are moral….Genesis, as you point out, INCLUDES Moses' / G-d's Ten Commandments! Definitions of evil were provided from day one.
Wrong. Husband is Marty/Martin Nesbitt (sic?).
I haven't even read your thread and I already know from ONE post you don't know what you're talking about. You're as fucking helpful as Mr. Sacoy.
Educate yourself so you don't spread nonsense and make us look like idiots. That is, unless it's your goal. It's not that fucking hard to research a person before you go off on a fucking rant. Pathetic.
Perhaps…in fact, probably true. BUT, if you believe that you MUST believe what you wrote…namely, that there IS an external component. Evil exists…and it's not only a subjective perception. After that I'll agree that I may not understand what it really is or how to correctly define it. That said, again, it exists and exists outside our mind.
A possessed soul might just be mentally ill and not under satan's influence. Either way the person isn't only a mental construct. Only my interpretation of that construct is in my head….major difference/distinction.
Put another way, I highly doubt if I were to punch you in the face you would believe it was only a subjective construct.
