>labeling groups of people as evil is comically absurd once you understand real truth.
the above is not an argument it is a confusion. surely i can label groups as evil and do so rationally and accurately. Dims are idiots….Serial murderers are bad/evil…..should I continue? Now most of these contain a supressed claused (something like "in general" or "most") that acts as a quantifier (like "all" or "some" is used in formal logical arguments. We can even make broad generalizations like statisically black and latino americans are significantly more likely to commit violent crime as compared to the rest of the group. You might even go on to conclude that blacks are generally evil, but that conclusion is considered incorrect (the formal reasons why such arguments fail are not easy to spell out, though I suppose most here would agree).
The idea that evil is in the head and "exists only in the mind" also seems gratuitous to me….what does it mean? Is it a philosophical statement? If so where is the argument? Is it scientific? If so, what expirement could potentially falsify the claim (you need this…otherwise it aint science). I'm really pushing myself here but am having trouble even understanding what your claim is.
