False Flag events are now firmly established in the national consciousness in the same way as fake news.

Nothing can save them; they can only make things worse for themselves because there are too many informers in their ranks for them to get away with anything.

Some people just don't want to hang, and turning informer has far more chance of success than another hare-brained false flag event.
