The leaders are smart, but not so amazingly smart that they can't relate. According to what I read, amazingly smart people should be consultants. There is probably an above average number of amazingly smart people here.
Also, what's this tracking from an early age? You think they're really trying to help those smart people. You go, creative person, change things? No. So, they're not trying to help smart people, they're trying to thwart them. Do they want a smart person who doesn't like their plan with a lot of money and power, with the intelligence to do something meaningful? No, so they fuck with people.
