Young (especially Jewish) people aren't as religious anymore, so any religious shooting is likely to have those victim demographics.
Still, you'd expect one or two people younger than 50.
Not sure of what was going on at the time, but could it have been a senior club or other such meeting? Churches (presumably synagogues too) have those all the time.
