when you figure out how long they've been at this bullshit and their ultimate goal
causing the dust bowl is the least of their problems
however I will say that people who didn't understand or appreciate the power of the plow and plowing ground 6-12" deep rather than plowing 2-3" deep really fucked everything up.
You have to remember that just a few short years before the dust bowl everybody got a tractor and suddenly they could plow deeper than anyone in their right mind would plow.
6-12" is deeper than roots, sod, worms, and everything else… 2-3" is just turning over sod which is fine…. the root structure is still in the soil to hold it…. but at 6-12" the root structure is totally upended and there isn't any roots left at that depth to hold the soil together.
