Don’t know if this has already been addressed but for what it’s worth…
I don’t think the non centralised + is relevant. As a graphic designer choosing the right spot to start writing so you can fit the word or sentence or + and ))) in takes practice. I think he just cramped himself. Unless this is manufactured to that degree. In that case, others better than me would know what that means.
